Applications to Case Studies

The ReVISIONS project proposes in-depth regional case studies of the Greater South East regions carried out in partnership with planning authorities and other stakeholders, to systematically test the effectiveness of combinations of infrastructure measures for both existing urban areas and new developments.

The research aims to forecast the effects of different policies over the next 50 years. This will take into account anticipated changes in technology and carry out sensitivity tests for uncertainties about the future. For example, transport is likely to become more automated and use carbon-free fuels but the car is still likely to be the most popular mode of transport.
