The ReVISIONS Annual Symposium 2011 took place in Guildford on 26th May.
This event was designed to be of interest to decision makers, planners, academics, consultants and stakeholders
involved in the spatial planning and design of sustainable buildings, energy, transport, water and
waste systems. It presented research in progress and described some of the methods being deployed to test and assess
the impacts of spatial planning options on urban form, energy, transport, water and waste with some
preliminary findings.
Speakers included
Professor Mike Batty CBE University College London, and International Advisory Members Prof Robert
Cervero, University of California, Prof Andy van den Dobbelsteen, Delft University of Technology, and
Prof Michael Wegener, Spiekemann & Wegener, Germany as well as many of the researchers from a diverse range of disciplines who are working on the project.
